Who We Are
We are a student organization aimed at building community around a love of film and filmmaking.
The SFC was founded in 2023 by CU Denver Film and TV students.
What WE DO
The goals of the film club are to create new and innovative short films, to build a community around a shared love of film and filmmaking, to help our members develop film-related skills outside of the classroom, encourage members to challenge themselves and work outside their comfort zones, and connect members with industry professionals in the hopes of fostering experiential learning opportunities.

Our bread and butter. Film club members are encouraged to produce their own independent short films with the support of the club.

The Film Club offers our members the opportunity to participate in Virtual Q&A's and In-Person Workshops with professional filmmakers. Past guests include Rian Johnson, Natasha Lyonne, David Lowry, Lucky McKee, Peter Ramsey, and More.

In addition to Networking Events, the club also offers a variety of events including exclusive film screenings, mixers, and more.
